Matthew Fleming, MD

Laboratory Director

Dr. Fleming completed a dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate in 1986 and a dermatopathology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in 1988, and is board-certified in both specialties. He was full-time faculty at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center from 1988-1994 and the Medical College of Wisconsin from 1995-2009. He directed dermatopathology labs at both institutions and was also director of MCW’s immunodermatology lab for several years. He is the author of 42 papers and book chapters. In addition to directing the laboratory, Dr. Fleming sees dermatology patients two half days per week in the Germantown office of Affiliated Dermatologists. He continues to teach dermatopathology to dermatology residents at MCW.
